    Celeste Press was founded in 2007 in Atlanta, Georgia by Charles Marshall, a Christian minister, educator, administrator, philanthropist, community activist, and business person. Celeste Press, is a limited liability corporation, while it serves as a publishing company, it also is Encouraging, Enlightening, Empowering, Educating, and Uplifting to Humanity. The company accomplishes these goals through publishing of various media, sponsoring seminars, workshops, and conferences, and sowing seeds within the community.

Charles Francis Marshall, III,

CEM, CEA, CLEP, CBCP, MBA, MDIV

Charles is a born again, saved, child of God who serves God and humanity through everything he does. Born in Bronx, NY, he has been prepared at some of the finest institutions in the country: Prattville High School in Prattville, Alabama; graduate of Auburn University with a B.S. in Operations Management; graduate of Troy State University in Montgomery, Alabama with a Master of Business Administration degree; and after accepting his call to the ministry in 1998, a graduate of the Interdenominational Theological Center with a concentration in Church Administration with honors. Charles has also pursued additional training in the following areas: Resolving Multicultural Glitches, Customer Care, Philip Crosby’s Quality Improvement, Sexual Harassment and Discrimination, Proposal Development, Civil Training, and Leadership Development.
Occupationally, he has served as a production manager for Amoco Fabrics and Fibers. Also, he has been a business administration instructor at Selma University where he also served as the International Business Outreach Coordinator for the International Business program. Charles served as the Senior Utility Analyst for the Atlanta Housing Authority, one of the largest Housing Authorities in the United States, serving over 55, 000 persons for 14 years. As a Certified Energy Manager, a Certified Energy Auditor, a Certified Lighting Efficiency Professional, and a Certified Building Commissioning Professional with the Association of Energy Engineers, he now works with Energy Management for the U.S. Army. During this time, Charles served as Director of Music of the Dodd-Sterling United Methodist Church for 10 years where he served on the ministerial team. Charles developed the music program from a 6 member choir to two choirs, a praise team, and three dance teams. Also, as a part of the program, a Fine Arts component has been successfully teaching students to master performing the arts through drums, voice, and piano for over 7 years. Currently, he is the senior pastor of the Fountain of Hope Christian Church in Atlanta, Georgia. Charles has served as the Chaplain to the graduate Pi Gamma Lambda Chapter, of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc at Ft. McPherson, GA where he has served as Vice President and is the current President. He is also serving as the Project Alpha Chair for the Georgia District of Alpha Phi Alpha and the Southern Regional Coordinator for seven (7) states, a national program with the March of Dimes and Alpha Phi Alpha to mentor African American Teens on responsibility, respect, relationship, and sexually transmitted diseases. He also has been a Chaplain Intern for the Georgia Department of Corrections’ Metro Regional Youth Detention Center in Atlanta, GA, one of the largest of its kind in the state. He is the owner and founder of Celeste Press, a publishing company which published his new books, Logos Immanuel , books one and two. Finally, he is a Deputy Registrar for Fulton County, Georgia registering 100’s of voters.
MINISTRY
  • Project Alpha Coordinator for Southeast U.S. (Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Mississippi, and Tennessee) which mentors African American teens in partnership with March of Dimes
  • Initiated and implements the “Project Alpha” (mentoring) program in the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice Metro Regional Youth Detention Center in Atlanta, GA.
  • Served as Chair of the Christian Education Committee for the Dodd-Sterling United Methodist Church and currently serves as co-chair of Christian Education and Youth Ministry Team for Dodd-Sterling United Methodist Church.
  • Leads a College Tour Committee, which coordinates and sponsors college tours for high school students in the Metro Atlanta Area since 2003.
  • Has preached and taught around the country. Has also has ministered to the sick, the oppressed, the grieved, and all who have presented opportunity for ministry.
  • Has conducted church music workshops, praise and worship workshops, leadership workshops, stewardship workshops, and youth and children ministry workshops all over the country.
  • Worked with Habitat for Humanity to build homes for families in need.
  • Served with the Open Door Ministries which serves the homeless population of Atlanta.
  • Has served on the Founder’s Day Committee for the Gammon Theological Seminary for the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, GA.
  • Has served on several ecumenical efforts to foster fellowship among God’s people in different faith communities.
